Terms of Service

 

Captain & Crew

  • For bareboat charters, the captain and crew are hired directly by the charterer.
  • We can recommend qualified captains and handle payment to them on your behalf as a convenience.
  • The captain works under the direction of the charterer.

 

Rescheduling

  • If hazardous weather prevents your charter from departing, your payment will be applied to a rescheduled date at no extra charge, subject to vessel availability.

 

Cancellation Policy

  • You can cancel up to 3 business days before your charter by emailing us.
  • Cancellations made within this time may qualify for a refund, minus credit card processing fees.
  • All payments become non-refundable within 3 business days of your charter date, unless due to bad weather or another qualifying reason.

 

Catering

  • A minimum of two platters is required per charter.
  • All catering must be ordered at least 36 hours before departure.
  • Catering orders are non-refundable if canceled within 36 hours of your charter.

 

Payment Deadlines

  • Boats under 100ft: Full payment due 3 business days before departure
  • Boats 100ft and larger: Full payment due 5 business days before departure
  • Charters over $10,000: Special payment schedule required
  • Missing the final payment deadline will result in cancellation and loss of your deposit.

 

Payment Requirements

  • Only one credit card is accepted per booking.
  • You must bring the physical card used to book and a matching photo ID on the day of your charter.
  • Prepaid cards, virtual cards, and checks are not accepted.
  • Charters $2,500 and above are subject to a credit card processing fee.
  • Bookings made within 24 hours of departure cannot be paid by credit card.

 

New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day (Dec 31 & Jan 1)

  • Full payment is required 14 business days prior to the charter.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 14 business days in advance to qualify for a refund.
  • Cancellations within 14 business days are non-refundable.
  • All catering is non-refundable if canceled within 14 business days.
  • Itinerary changes must be approved at least 14 business days in advance.

 

Bad Weather Policy

  • This policy applies to day charters only. Multi-day charters are excluded.
  • Hazardous weather must exist at the scheduled departure time.
  • Qualifying conditions include named storms, severe storms lasting more than 4 hours, or winds over 30 mph / waves over 3 feet.
  • Light rain, clouds, or a chance of rain do not qualify.

 

Refunds & Fees

  • Credit card refunds are issued minus the original processing fee (3% for U.S. cards, 5% for international).
  • Wire transfer refunds are subject to a $30 processing fee.
  • Zelle and Bank of America internal transfers are refunded in full with no fees.

 

Gratuity

  • A minimum gratuity of 15% of the total charter price is expected for the crew.
  • This gratuity is the primary source of compensation for the captain and crew.
  • While 15% is the minimum, higher gratuities are customary and appreciated for excellent service.

 

Jet Skis & Water Toys

  • All jet skis and water toys are provided by independent third-party vendors.
  • A maximum of two jet skis are allowed per vessel.
  • You are fully responsible for any damage caused to the yacht or rented equipment.
  • Most rentals require a refundable damage deposit paid directly to the vendor.
  • Cancellations for water toys must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations inside 48 hours incur a $100 fee per item.
  • Rentals are appointment only — late arrivals will forfeit rental time with no refund.

 

Payment & Verification for Water Toys

  • You must bring the same physical credit card used to book, along with a matching government-issued photo ID, on the day of the charter.
  • Failure to provide the matching card and ID, or refusal to pay the vendor’s damage deposit, may result in cancellation of the rental with no refund.
